FOUR STRATEGIES IN TEACHING SPEAKING DURING COVID -19 PANDEMIC AT SMA N 04 PALEMBANG

Teaching and learning activities for speaking at SMA N 04 Palembang were conducted online, as one of the efforts to suppress spread Covid-19. The process teaching online was through a web-based application internet network. In situations like this, teachers had very important role because they ones responsible motivating, guiding, correcting mistakes made by students when English. This used qualitative narrative inquiry method. participants four English Palembang. Data collection techniques observation interviews. results showed strategies, namely roleplaying, storytelling, discussion reporting. Thus, from those roleplaying storytelling seemed be most commonly considered improve students’ skills learning.
